The V6 TDI 3.0 engine with 251 kW (341 V) of power and the electric compressor allow the Audi SQ5 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.1 seconds, quickly reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). All that impressive power is transmitted through fast and comfortable gear changes by the eight-speed tiptronic gearbox. The standard quattro all-wheel drive with self-locking center differential distributes the power variably between the two axles with a basic ratio of 40:60. However, in order to achieve even greater traction, up to 70 percent of the power can be directed to the front axle or 85 percent to the rear.
